Collection: the Osito collection
This collection features custom, hand-cut bear cabochons in black onyx and a stunning variety of Kingman turquoise. 'Osito' is Spanish for 'little bear', and is my ode to the black bear, one of the most important predators in New Mexico as well as the state mammal.
20% of the proceeds from this collection will be going to help support the efforts of the Cottonwood Rehab center (which is part of the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation) located in Española, NM. This amazing place was founded by Dr. Kathleen Ramsey to nurse bears and cubs back to health, as well as raptors, deer, toads, and any other critters that need a boost before released back into the wild. They do good work and I strongly believe that people like her and her staff make the world a better place.
