This necklace features one of my favorite stones from this batch, a gemmy blue Kingman turquoise bear with a beautiful brown matrix. IT features a hidden bail behind the pendant, and the chain is a 20" sterling silver rolo chain with a circular spring ring jewelry clasp.
Please let me know if you would prefer a different chain length!
This collection features custom, hand-cut bear cabochons in black onyx and a stunning variety of Kingman turquoise. 'Osito' is Spanish for 'little bear', and is my ode to the black bear, one of the most important predators in New Mexico as well as the state mammal.
20% of the proceeds from this collection will be going to help support the efforts of the Cottonwood Rehab center (which is part of the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation), located in Española, NM. Please navigate to the Shop menu > click on the Osito collection to see a more detailed explanation of what kind of work this amazing organization does!
Handmade by me, Stephanie Stamp, under the sunny skies of New Mexico. Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
