This necklace features a matte black onyx bear cabochon with a bright blue Campitos turquoise droplet beneath it. This is a new style for me with the circle connecting the 2 stones and I just love how it turned out!
The chain is a 20" sterling silver rolo chain with a circular spring ring jewelry clasp. Please let me know if you would prefer a different chain length!
This collection features custom, hand-cut bear cabochons in black onyx and a stunning variety of Kingman turquoise. 'Osito' is Spanish for 'little bear', and is my ode to the black bear, one of the most important predators in New Mexico as well as the state mammal.
20% of the proceeds from this collection will be going to help support the efforts of the Cottonwood Rehab center (which is part of the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation), located in Española, NM.
Handmade by me, Stephanie Stamp, under the sunny skies of New Mexico. Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
