I used one of the nicest pieces of Royston turquoise that's come through my collection for this lariat necklace and accented it with an incredibly flashy opal teardrop. Take a look at that stone.. a stunningly rich blue with a coppery red matrix a cloud of white swirls throughout. This high quality piece of turquoise is wrapped in two layers of decorative wire and the back is stamped with my maker's mark and STERLING.
I don't make these necklaces often as they are labor intensive in that they require some very careful heat management with the torch, but they are so worth the effort. This necklace consists of an 20" sterling silver rolo chain split in half with a spring ring clasp for closure, and the drop for the secondary stone being roughly 2 1/4".
Please keep in mind that this style of necklace will lay on all bodies slightly differently, based on your neck circumference as well as your torso measurements. I have included several additional jump rings 1", 2" and 3" from the end loop to allow for a range of adjustment from 20" to 17". ***Please send me an email if you would like these rings removed, or if you'd like one added.
