This necklace features a glowing Mexican amber moon accented with a droplet of black onyx below. I just love using these beautifully cut moons from Chiapas, Mexico. Each piece of amber is around 20 million years old, which makes it a wearable piece of ancient earth history.
The pendant is strung on a silky 18" sterling silver snake chain and the back is stamped with my maker's mark and STERLING.

Turquoise is considered a relatively soft and porous stone, and as with all silver based jewelry, this gem should be taken off when showering, applying lotion, etc. to avoid discoloration of the stone and to keep this piece in beautiful condition for years to come!
